Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Zumba fuses dance with fitness so good workout gear is advisable. If you would like to get some of the official Zumba wear then speak to Beckie as she is able to order it for you and save you the postage costs.
What should I bring?
Zumba is a fitness session so bring plenty of fluids with you and we also recommend bringing a towel with you.
I am new to Zumba can I join in the sessions?
Yes. The more you come the easier it will get, there is no time like the present to get stuck in. Beckie creates easy to follow routines that are fun for everyone regardless of experience.
I am experienced at Zumba will I enjoy the sessions?
Beckie keeps the routines accessible for all level yet maintains the intensity so you get a good workout. We have had many people that have come from other Zumba classes that have really enjoyed the easy to follow routines and the dance style that Beckie adds to the session.
Can I bring the kids to join in?
Unfortunately the physiological differences between children and adults means that the adult Zumba sessions are not suitable for anyone under the age of 12 years old. We do have Zumbatomic sessions which are designed for children between the ages of 4 and 12.
Can I bring the kids, or other adults to watch?
Unfortunately we have limited space for people to sit and watch at the venues. We can only allow people to watch from outside of the venue regardless of the weather!
I am pregnant or suffering an injury can I still join the Zumba session?
Please talk to us before you start your session either by phone or at the front desk before you start your workout
Do I have to book in advance?
We currently do not run a booking system for any of the sessions. Please be aware that sessions can get busy so it is advisable to get there about 15 minutes before the session starts to find yourself some space. We may have to run a cut off system or a pre-book system in the future but it will be featured heavily on the front page of the website if we do so do check back regularly or join our facebook page for updates.
